I just wanted to give a shout out for a wonderful product called Lock N Level. For ages I've struggled A) with levelling a twin axle caravan across the axle and B) Getting both 'wedge' locks into the wheels. Just by chance I saw the Lock N Level on another Caravan Forum site and decided to purchase one. The Lock N Level is essentiality a clever little twin airbag which when inflated 'jacks up' one side of the caravan enabling one to easily level it. With clever use of the valves it is possible to fit both wedge locks easily too. . It really is a clever invention. I should point out I am in no way connected to the manufacturer at all, other than being one very happy customer.

already owning a decent 12 volt pump i was wondering if they could be used as a wheel change jack..

At darned near £100 for an over-strength balloon, I think I will stick to my old fashioned plastic ramps.

Certainly trog100. For a twin axle, you can use it as a jack.

Understand, where you're coming from Lobey. Its a bit pricey, but it gets the job done with not an expletive uttered.

I hope you don't mind but from time to time people come on here with no profile information and in their only post they rave about a product. It does give the impression of product promotion. If I had a company with a new product I would do that.

my blocks of wood do plenty a good enough job of levelling for me.. i assume that folding over a twin axle bag would give double the lift maybe a foot or so.. it is just a tough blow up bag but tough blow up bags do seem to be expensive.. he he..

real air jacks all seem to cost an arm and a leg..

We use a Kojac which is easy to fit and having its own anchor points on the caravan, is very safe to use.

On our last trip, due to circumstance beyond our control, we used it as a levelling point for six days and it held the van very well with no loss of pressure.

At less than 40 quid, a far more useful bit of kit for less than half the price of this air bag!

Sorry chaps.. point taken. I've filled in my 'profile'. Honestly I have no connection with the product, other than I bought one

The clever part is this..
You lay the bag out flat, reverse the van so that the locking point for one wheel is in the correct place. Move the van forward, slide the bag in the path of the wheels, reverse back so that the locking point is back in the original place. Fit the one lock.
Inflate the first bag so that the one wheel is being jacked up. Once the second wheel comes off the ground you can rotate it by hand to get the second wedge lock in.
Once done you open up a valve which allows the pressure to equalise across both bags.

You then adjust the pressure up or down to level the axle.

Its complicated to explain here but the video shows how easy and clever it is.

I have a kojack but have never used it for levelling. I am sure it would work fine. I may try it next time.

I have just bought a cheap trolley jack from argos to use with the horse trailer and it works well.

I got the price when I Googled Kojac Caravan jacking system last night at £39.99p.

Cannot tell you what I paid for mine as I bought it some years ago and it is now fitted to my second unit.

there is an old argos offer that must have expired long ago for £39.99 but if you actually want to buy one they cost a lot more than that..

i know because i have been looking to (maybe) buy one.. he he..

but they are still just a bottle jack and a couple of brackets i think the blow up bag system will have been priced along side them or other jacking type alternatives..

ether way you cant buy a kojak for less than forty quid.. if you could i think i would have been tempted.. :)

i have been looking for easy to use light weight jacking systems.. for simple levelling i am happy with my blocks of wood..

no way will i pay the price of the double bag system just to use as a jack.. but having looked at real air jacks it would probably be the cheapest option..

the couple of bolt on brackets makes the price of a simple jack quite expensive.. he he

folding a single bag over double would probably work as an air jack..

ps.. the blow up bag system would work well on soft wet ground.. better than any other system i would think..

carvans should all come with proper jacking systems.. the fact they dont dosnt say much for the people that design them or the industry that sells them..

We have one and it is as good as the OP states. brilliant piece of kit and makes fitting the second ALKO lock a doddle on twin axles.
