Hi, has any one fitted one of these new products from Fiamma that I've seen adverised?
I thought it would be straight forward but thats the problem, getting the rail to unfurl from the box and stick on the van straight. If you've achieved it please tell me how! Thanks

Doesn't appear to be the type that just slides inside the awning rail, but actually sticks to the body of the 'van.
Only thing I can suggest is to unroll and warm it up, perhaps in the sun.

Hi and thanks, that's right, it's flexible extruded "J" shaped plastic, you peel the backing tape off for one time adhesion to stick directly to the body of the van. I have now unrolled it and cut it into the working length and tied it down on a piece of wood to get the kinks out. But with only one chance to stick it I want to be sure I get it level and not wavy.
