Hi all
I purchased one of the above at the 2012 show and have used it for 17 trips (34 times) however the seems along the bottom have all frayed and come apart the a frame strap has been replaced and the securing clip attached to the fabric has split, one of the securing straps on the side has also frayed and is coming away.
I contacted Protec and said that I know I have no warranty but I feel that the cover has not been used much and the quality is disappointing, the reply was we can 'help' So I sent some pictures and then they asked for the cover to be sent to them so I did (cost £16.92), Received a call today from them saying that I can have the cover repaired at a cost of £60 plus vat to me or I can have a 15% discount on a new one, don't see where they are helping me here? do I have a case as the cover is not fit for purpose ore do I cut me losses and by a Specialist cover?
