I think Showroom Shine is one of the originals, maybe the trial was on the newer ones. Also, sShowroom Shine leaves a wax finish, the Autoglyn one didn't, but did the job, ie cleaned the vanwhile on site with the aewning up.

issym. I see in your gallery you were in South Africa in 1984 so was I did you live there.Thats where my love for camping started proper trailers,Cadac and mostly canvas tents

Yes, we lived in a tiny dorp called Hopefieldin the Cape. The middle photo was taken in Cape Town. We used to go through the veldt to the beach on Friday evening, catch crawfish all week end, braii them fresh, then go home. No toilets, just walk into the long grass
Our tent was very similar to the Outwell Bear Lake.
WE used to go to a place called Paternoster which was very swecluded, my OH visited when he went to a funeral and it is like Blackpool!!! (well not quite!!!!) Where were you?

Joburg, Eastern Transvaal. Used to go camping near Durban same sort of setup through a forest and you were on the beach. Returned to the UK in 1998 sat outside of a pub and said to my wife we could be camping in this weather next day when she arrived home from work there stood our first tent from that time we have had numerous Outwell tents, Two Folding Campers and now a small caravan. Lifes great

We brought our tent an trailer back with us......we lasted one season and then sold it and bought a very old caravan, a Thompson T line. I did it up and it lasted us another 10 years. WE then went back to camping, Outwell like you, and now we have the brand new shiney van with gas guzzeler tow car that most posts seem to knock! I've earned my stripes.

I dont go for this at all, cleaning a caravan/car with a warterless cleaner, the dust and grit will collect on the cleaning cloth and will cause damage.
Most of them advise you to rinse off heavy dirt before using.
These products needs to be wiped off before it dries on the surface using light strokes in one direction. When wiping, defer from doing it in circular motion because the dirt will end up returning to the section you’ve wiped off.
Try not to apply too much pressure on the towel as well to prevent micro scratches.
