Anyone any experience of any compact or lightweight insurance approved wheelclamps for NON ALLOY wheels please?
We have a purpleline Nemesis heavyweight clamps which works fine but is very bulky and heavy to have to cart around when out and about
Only really want one to meet insurance requirements so not fussed if sold secure or not

The Milenco Lightweight Wheel Clamp seems quite good. It's insurance approved but not Sold Secure.

We use a lot earlier version of the Bull-Dog Euro Clamp.
Not feather light by any means, but relatively light and exceedingly practical; accepted by the Caravan Club's underwriters.

Beast of a bulldog wheel clamp we got....
If it's difficult for me to fit, it's (I hope) difficult for a thief to remove....

I had an older bulldog wheelclamp and it was very heavy.
I would imagine attaching a chain and trying to drag it off would have ripped the axle off first.
It was very fiddly to fit though. The 3 arms had to be in the right spot to fit the cover which was also very heavy.

Bottom line if they want it they will get it and we store on a silver CASSOA site so I just want minimum to meet insurance requirements really whilst travelling (will probably keep larger heavier one on over winter say)
