Hi guys.
Just booked for Holgates at Silverdale in a few weeks.

Heard a rumour its a tight road on appoach with a caravan. Do u know of a preferred road onto site

Its not the best of roads for the last couple of miles.

My preference is to leave the M6 at j35, turn left onto the A6 into carnforth and then turn right at the lights past the station and follow the sat nav from there.

Unfortunately the worst part of the journey is the last mile or so.

However take it easy and its well worth it when you get there.

Absolute Brilliant Site..

Unfortunately... There is only one way in and One way out...MPG68 states in the previous post,It will be well worth it when you get there..

Its best to try and arrive after 1pm. This usually gives time for leavers to vacate and get away from the area. I wouldnt like to try to get past a large unit or reverse on the narrow roads. Hope the weather is kind to you as its beautiful there. (we,ve stayed at Gibralta farm not Holgates but approach roads are the same)
