We have been looking at the 2015 Bailey Valencia, like the van lots, but why oh why have they put the gas barbeque point on the off side. I wouldn't want it in the awning but would like the BBQ on the same side as the awning. So a point at the front would have been better. I realise this takes much more piping, but where it is makes it easier to cook food for the caravan next to you. Well gripe over.

It is a bit odd. That said ours is on nearside and that doesn't work either unless you want to bbq in your awning ?!
Why. We run the flexible piping out under the awning so no issue there. Our hose is about 3 metres long.
Hi We use one of these of ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/QUICK-RELEASE-HOSE-CONNECTION-NOZZLE-LPG-GAS-BBQ-/171402067772?pt=UK_Campervan_Caravan_Accessories&hash=item27e85bff3c
with an extra hose feed under the van.
Cheers
Paul

I think you'll find that Bailey have changed the bbq point back to the nearside on production models.
They've also moved the front nearside locker door forward to a more normal/usual position.
Where did you get your info? nothing on the Unicorn page

Speaking to our local dealer, if you order a Unicorn 3 now, the above mods will be on your caravan, ready in December. These are as a result of early customer feedback. The near side locker door was partially obscured when the main caravan door was open so this gets moved towards the front.
There is a 3rd mod too - more lights above the kitchen sink I believe as this area was too dull at night.
Those are good mods, looking more attractive now. That's if my surgeon can pull his finger out and change my botched up hip implant before next season.
