We have been looking at the 2015 Bailey Valencia, like the van lots, but why oh why have they put the gas barbeque point on the off side. I wouldn't want it in the awning but would like the BBQ on the same side as the awning. So a point at the front would have been better. I realise this takes much more piping, but where it is makes it easier to cook food for the caravan next to you, unless you have 20' of gas piping on your BBQ. Well gripe over.

I agree that in the awning is no good, but the other side of the van. How do you talk to people in the awning? shout underneath the van, through a couple of open windows. I realise it is close to the gas bottle and so they have used less pipe but it's in an anti social place unless you are cooking for the van next to you. They should have put it at the offside front panel, but guess that would spoil the look.

Good comments madasaman, stupid place to put it. For me it would actually put me off buying the van.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Can't you attach some longer hose so that it reaches front near side? Not sure if this would be regarded as dangerous or even unlawful though....anyone?

Not sure about other devices but for the CADAC carry chef you are told to use a hose not exceeding 1.5 metres. Issues with pressure maybe?
