Dont know about you guys but i hate putting the van to sleep for the year.I get a face on as ive no holidays left and must visit my concentration camp job.It seems forever till we hitch up next year.Dont seem right or fair. But sometimes i check on the van in storage and just sit there for a moment and remember the good times of the year, and just the smell of the van says holidays to me,sometimes i would like to just take off in it but cant.Is it just me or do others feel the same
Do you really need time off work to go to a local site for a Friday & Saturday night
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Same here. We holiday all year in our van, even if only for 2 nights close to home.
Hubby on shifts so does restrict some weekends, but would hate to have to put it away for months.

This is my first year caravanning. One of the big excitements is extending the season over our camping days. Plus, keeping the 'van going means not having to winterise and a weekend with the heating on will help keep everything dry.
trying a 3 nighter in mid November on the NE coast to try this theory out
------------- Camping Gear expands so as to fill the space available for its transportation.
Two more trips planned and one of them is a 9 day one!! To be honest the only reason it won't be used for a couple of months is that we've run out of weekends we're either not working or not doing something else....like Christmas!! If the weathers good in January we'll be back out there!!
