Looking of getting a mover tomorrow my question is any
single axle mover fit any caravan ? don't want to waste money even though this mover is pretty cheap.

Provided there are not obstructions like waste pipes in the way, then you should have no problems. If you have a caravan with suspension dampers, then you need to ensure the mover is a model designed for this.

they fit most alko chassis.. so the answer is yes..

its possible that shock absorbers may get in the way of some of them but that is about all..

Some early caravans are impossible to fit a mover to, it would depend upon how old your Van Royce is.

-------------
Bill

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

If your van has shocks fitted simply mount mover behind wheels on single axial

Iwould advise getting mover with most ground clearance if I rember rightly VR sits quite low.

I have fitted motor movers, swapped them between caravans and trashed one on an off road track.
Build the assembly up away from the caravan,
Measure the distance between the inner edges of the tyre treads and transfer this to the inner edges of the mover rollers.
Then slide the complete assembly under the caravan and jack it into place with a scissor jack.
Dive under the caravan and fit the clamp plates, set the roller to tyre distance then rive up the bolts
Simples :-)

You just swap the motor wires over where they connect to the control box

Years ago I fitted a motormover. Relatively simple job. Better if you have a helper.

I have always fitted my own and find it easy to have it on two trolley jacks to manoeuvre it under caravan then jack up to the chassis.Have never had a problem mounting on any of the vans in front of wheel, and all have had shock absorbers.

as above also it provides positive and quick isolation to the mover should it jamb on or get signal from say a mobile phone or other RF interfearence

flick the isolator key and it shuts the lot down instantly and it lets you keep the system isolated when not in use (it draws a lot of power and big shorted DC cables can easily cause fire........)

My parents got theirs second hand i replaced all the cables in invested in some proper ratchet cable crimping pliers to make the connections....

I would also add a AWG fuse or a DC overload trip

as close to the battery as possible to be extra safe (though the trauma one of my parents doesn't have any reference to a fuse in the literature there is no protection on the control unit either... so i fitted a DC trip rated at 100A (as it peaks 85a at start up)

like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-AMP-12-24V-DC-CIRCUIT-BREAKER-REPLACE-FUSE-100A-12-24VDC-FAST-FREE-USA-SHIP-/221131642724

came from a chandlers local to us cost about £15 from memory

All the cable runs i made were in conduit / flexy conduit i really despise the "professional installers" who staple gun single insulated cables to the caravan underside where they rub on the chassis in places
