We are looking to find a used Lunar Ariva 2 berth, and search as I may I can nowhere find a note of the awning rail height.All the so-called specs tell me a shedload of figures, but the really useful items are hard or impossible to find. Can't choose an awning till I have found this figure, so, any help most appreciated. Am probably looking at 2005-06 ish.

Unless of course, Barbara means a porch awning which would stipulate a rail height in it's spec.

Barbara, you won't find awning rail height measurements and if you do mean a porch awning, these are designed to fit a range of heights and are adjustable to fit pretty much any van.

Post further detail regarding your exact requirements.

Hi everyone! Sorry -did not make myself clear, I assumed it was obvious that you need the rail height for a porch - I only want to know what the rail height is for a Lunar Ariva van. I do appreciate that most porches are designed for a(narrow)height range. This has been a pain with our present 'van, an ABI Sprinter, with a rail height of only 225cm. Most awnings are designed for higher vans. We are changing 'vans, as I said, I I am trying to get ahead of the game, so I know which porches will fit our 'new' 'van. Thanks for all your interest!

You must correct yourself Llanl Davis the awning rail hight is of great importance my caravan(old) has a hight of slightly less than 230 thus I cannot have a kampa air awning or a porch awning for a rail night of 235-250 it would not fit please think about it

If you intend buying a full awning as pointed out by others it's the overall length from ground to ground aground the rail but porch awnings differ beware
