not a lot you can do with long deep scratches apart from trying to make them less noticeable.. some kind of touch up pen and some polishing is about all you can do..
anything else would be a complete panel respray.. expensive..

I would just leave it as if you dont know what your doing you are gonna make a mess of it.Maybe take the scratches out the window as suggested but paint work is a different ball game altogether and best left to the professionals.
On our second trip out in our new van we caught it down the side after leaving a petrol station. Know how you feel it's devastating. We had it filled and sprayed by a professional caravan repairer. It cost 300 pounds and you can't see it at all

As previously mentioned, bare aluminium will degrade quite quickly. Cover those scratches while waiting for a repair - a layer of grease will do the trick, not pretty but better than leaving the damage exposed for a few months
