We have had a motorhome for four years and have now decided to go back to a caravan. Why you may ask? Well, I like having a car with us.
We don't want to tow a car because you might as well tow a caravan.
We have just seen and been inside the new Bailey Unicorn Cadiz.(Twin beds, end washroom, single axle) We love the layout and especially the taller fridge. But....£20000!!!!
I want it, I really want it but do I need it?
TBH I am sure there are other lovely caravans with this layout that are a year or two years old and will not cost us £20000.
Does anyone own one and can recommend?
Thank you.
This is really interesting for me as I am thinking of changing from a van to a motorhome! My reason being I don't want to tow a van and hopefully only wanting a smaller motorhome, hoping to be more mobile.
To be honest my o/h would prefer to stick with the van I think, but she Dosent do any driving, really confused as to which way to go. Sorry can't help with any other makes/models, no doubt our more experienced members may be able to help you.

It depends on where in the range you want to buy. Lunar do that layout. The Lunar Quasar 554 is there entro level new £17,500, and I'm sure there are slightly older moderls available.
If you want all year camping the CLubman is well insulated and the SB is the layout you wanted.
We went from tenting to van and went through the motorhome/van decision. My OH hated towing but when we thought it through a few hours towing v buses and travel restrictions won us over to the van. As we were starting from scratch we were able to choose the right van and then get a decent tow car. NOW.....DH can't understand why we struggled with the tent for so many years when towing and set up is sooooo easy. It really does depend on your match . (our pride and joy in my gallery!!)
------------- Started with a motorbike and tent.......my gallery, my life.
Changing back to a caravan has really been an easy decision for us.We love our motorhome and it is more versatile than a caravan but we want to have the convenience of having a car with us.
It's all horses for courses really. We are touring France and Italy next spring in the motorhome and then it's all change.
