The only "drain bung" I know of is the rubber plug in the bottom of the sink.
I take it out and leave it lying in the sink.

Theres a bung under your cistern in the cassette locker (usually). The only other is the dump valve adjacent to your water heater.
We leave sink and shower plugs in to stop stuff crawling up the pipes.

The presence of a drain bung is based largely on the age of your van and the parts within it (you don't mention the year of yours).
The Thetford loo will generally have a rubber drain bung (as mentioned), within the cassette compartment. Earlier water heaters such as the Carver model also have a drain plug, however if your van has the yellow lever "dump valve" near your heater, then leaving that open is the later equivalent.
Taps left open (and in the middle position if a mixer valve), plug in sink drain.

Have a look under your caravan you may see a couple of these...........![](https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7451/10190356215_c1ab785d12.jpg) ..............they are attached to the cold and hot water pipes, pull out the red stopper and you drain out any water left in the pipes.

Thanks all. It's a 2014 & it has the yellow dump valve G7ACU mentioned. Really appreciate the help.
