MY 57 Octavia Scout came with 13 pin pull down socket but with all in car mods done but no tow bar.
I found groping around underneath rear fairing to locate a pain in the a#%e especially if the ground was wet and muddy.
My van had 2 seven pin plugs which I converted to 13 pin.
There was as far as I know no double entry plugs on the market at that time so I stripped outer cover on the two cables and slipped on a shrink sleeve after wiring the 13 pin plug and testing all was ok I slide shrink sleeve down cables into entry of plug and shrank using OH,s hair drier then slide rubber seal and screw on nut on rear of plug
The only problem I had was seeing some of the moulded on numbers inside plug for correct cable entry However this was overcome with a borrowed magnifying glass( I now have one in tool kit)

When getting quotes i found that National TowBar fitting companies or franchised companies were much more expensive than local independents. If you need a towbar, use your Yellow Pages and get a few quotes first.
