If you have it done you will have to follow a regime of cleaning because any shampoo you use that has road grime remover will strip the coatings that they apply

Done my own when new, lovely smooth finish and shine. Still have to rub just as hard to get black streaks off dispite what people say. Would I do it again maybe not.
All you need to do is wash the van with Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner including the roof.
Use neat on the streaks then wash off straight away.
Next polish the van with AUTOGLYM SUPER RESIN POLISH this will also clean the paint work.
To finish off polish with Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection this will also seal the paint work and stop 90% of black streaks and also make them very easy to wash off.
DO NOT FORGET the roof as most off the dirt runs down onto the van from here
This advice was given to me by Paul of Tourershine years ago.
I used to do this twice a year when I have my van and my car is done 4 times a year.
I had a previous caravan treated with paintseal. I wouldn't bother again. Still gets just as mucky. A good clean with a decent cleaner (autoglym for example ) and then use a good wax based polish. You acn't go wrong with Autoglym. Other cleaners are available.

I haven't put any polish on our van from new. Use a solution of washing up liquid everytime it needs a decent wash or just use clear water. It looks as good as new sitting on our drive. Once you start to polish you have to keep going. Same with our car. It's 6 years old and still looks like new. Also no polish!
washing up liquid worst thing to use..body wash is better but you not saving any money really as proper car wash wax is pretty cheap and has traffic film remover in it which cleans better.... agree as well dont forget the roof and if doing it yourself u can see any damage or anything which needs doing which a company wouldmt bother looking for..

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Traffic film remover is the worst thing to use with a waxed finish it strips off the wax and Paul of Tourershine told me that when I showed him the car shampoos that I had
The hardest part is trying to wash and clean the roof, then add polish and then the sealant. We gacve up on that past ages ago and just do the sides and the front as far up as we can reach.

Not strictly true, what he should have said is that Some TFRs will strip wax as they contain caustic, the non caustic TFRs you should always abide by the dilution instructions. This also applies to other cleaners such as Myc off, Fenwicks etc. All of these cleaners will damage any paint sealers that have been applied. As for using washing up liquid no no no it contains salt
