We picked up our new caravan from Stewart Longtons in Chorley yesterday morning, had a fab handover from them, they left us to have a play for a bit and then answered our questions, finally giving my Hubby a demo on the motor mover before watching and instructing us on the hitch up and off we drove!
I had booked us a night at a small caravan park in Hambleton which is just outside Blackpool, arrived on site and were set up in 30 minutes (used to be an hour just to put the tent up) and soon snugged in with a nice cup of tea.
Had the most wonderful nights sleep and not woken by the 1st light so even got a bit of a lie in!
I think it was all helped by the amazingly wonderful weather, which meant a fab walk before eating last night.
All I can say is, love it! and have been asking the question why didn't we make the move sooner? lol
Now just looking where our next adventure is going to be.
We bought a van in 2009 just on our 60th trip now in chester. Never had such a good life. Been to France umpteen times. Hubby never towed before. Usually out every month of the year. We love it. Bet you are buzzing and now planning your next trip. It's addictive. Enjoy. J x
Lovely.
We had to sell up 2 years ago. Just getting sorted and looking at an older rig can't wait. Best family holidays we have ever had.
Enjoy your new found freedom B-)
We said the same after our first night on 20th September! so looking forward to new adventures. Enjoy yours.

Congratulations on your new van, we are a fingertip away from ordering our second new van. I adore our luxury en-suite hotel suite, without the restrictions of 'no dogs allowed' or eating at a certain time!
You will never regret making the move to a caravan, and my extra shifts are more than worth it to enable us to trade up again.
Enjoy, relax, life is too short not too!
