I cannot get my AVTEX W151D. T.V. /COMBO.
DVD/C.D. Player to work, have not used it for a year,did work before that, have tried everything,
also left switched on for hours, in case it had condensation on the laser-head, it loads, the rejects the disc..
Help please...Bryan

First course of action would be to use DVD Cleaning Disc's, one of those that comes with the liquid.

Not saying it will cure the problem, but worth a punt.

Are you playing a genuine Cd/DVD or a copy? Sometimes a copy won't work. Try a few different disks before anything else. Also, make sure your DVDs aren't damp, they can attract damp especially if stored in a caravan all winter.

You could always ring the manufacturers for advice. Here is their download page of manuals. Might be something in the troubleshooting section there.

We have sold our motor home...so I was checking eeverything was working on the T.V./ Combo.. so that I could sell it,
so if you know anyone that would like to buy..?
p.s.
As regards the d.v.d. it did work, but as we have not used it for a while..! I will be phoning the support line to see if they have any answers ...In the mean time, Thank to all for advice.
