Hi All,
We are looking at a site in Dorset which we like the look of but only has 10 amp supply do you find this is much of a problem . Obviously depends on demand but we only have use the normal type appliances plus a fridge in the awning.
I think it will be okay but wondered if anyone has encountered any problems.

10 amps should be no problem, but don't use hairdryer, curling tongs and the kettle, all at the same time.

Been on a site that shared 16amp to 3 vans!! that was a joke,The site told me "yes we have 16amp". The site was in Wales.

watts divided by volts = current

E.g. 1000 watts divided by 240 volts = 4amps

Etc

I am on a site which is 10amp been here several months and I dont find it a problem,heater has been on since day 1 only time i do trip the electrics is if water heater and hot blow heater are both on and i switch on a iron it trips but its no problem for me to go reset the trip..sitting now with heater on full and water heater on with all lights on and its dont trip
