You might also like to look at Finlux TVs. The price for the tea dl versions is excellent. Having bought one of the expensive TVs designed for a caravan and had it replaced after 2.5 yrs because the DVDS would not work and found that the replacement has done exactly the same I intend to buy a Finlux in the near future simply because I can buy three of those for one comparable Avtec.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Beware of rubbish viewing angles on cheap displays. Test the angle vertically too, we had a cheap tv that the picture went negative if viewed from low down.
I would also echo that the Finlux models are worth a look at, plus some are suited for 12v use too - click here for examples. A colleague bought one of these last year and has been very pleased with it so far.
I also partly agree on the viewing angles comment, however I must say from experience that this isn't necessarily related to just cheaper models. I had a dirt cheap Tesco own brand TV with excellent viewing angles, both horizontally and vertically, while a JVC 22" I borrowed was dreadful - figure that out.
Ideally you want to view/demo whatever you buy, but with some retailers (online outlets), that's not always possible.
We got the CELLO 16" a couple of years back, we used it for the first time in anger down at Frejus last July, whilst camping for 14 nights.
The Cello worked fine, and the picture was good, but I would say the viewing angle could be an issue for some.
At the end of the day the Cello was just £90 so reasonable value for money, and I am pleased with it's performance for the money, we run it from a Freesat box using the HDMI connection, it is not true 1080 HD just 720, but most stuff we watch is SD in any case.
Why they can't make these small TV's with the same picture quality as say an iPad etc is beyond me.
I think you can get an OLED 16" TV, but you are probably looking at £500 or so.
For the last 3 years we've used an Aldi one for caravanning and never had a problem.
The one in the dining room is an Asda special offer and it works well.
It is now time to retire the Hitatchi 48" jobby in the lounge as there is a shadow which has gradually spread from a 4 inch portion about a third in from the right hand side to being most of the middle portion grrr
