well i have all this drama to come, house on the market, caravan not yet bought (but getting more important by the day) it seems stretching the truth is the way to go !! what a world eh!!
My query is the same as some as the old ones on here - we are going to be Caravan Site Wardens from February 2019 - and need to insure our caravan to live in on site - I cant find any insurers who do this -- the van will be permenantly sited on the site with us living in it upto 10 months a year - when we go away the van will still be there ready for the next season
I have been honest with the insurers and cant find one who will insure it -- The Caravan Club has a dispensation for their own wardens but not for independant site

Insurance companies are about risk, so it would be interesting to know quite what it is they are averse to, particularly where there is a provable bricks and mortar permanent address.
A wardens caravan lived in for months on end and where there are people around all the time, has to be a lower risk than a van stored at home or in storage where it is subject to theft/burglary/vandalism. Again the wardens van may have a single return trip compared to multiple outings in the same period and is therefore at less risk from RTCs.
