Best twin axle is the one that YOU prefer. Have you had a good long sit in it and pretend your living in it?
One van may have something that annoys you where it may suit the next person. Our ideal van used to be a double at each end, but when living in it for a few weeks niggles may start to annoy you.
We then bought a side diner and it must be OK, we have owned it for 15 years.
A battery is worthwhile to smooth out any power surges and give you lighting if the mains go off.
You may have a pitch on the same mains circuit as my BIL, He will blow the main fuse several times a day. On one site the owner gave him the key to the fuseboard he tripped it that often.
We have had both
Bailey small fridge, corner fixed bed. blow air heating. one wardrobe
Swift large fridge, island fixed bed, alde heating, two wardrobes separate toilet/shower
We find the Swift better suited to our needs, But if buying one check for damp around windows...

If I have ehu on site,do I need a battery.
It all depends on your caravan and what actually runs off your battery.
Some vans need a 12v power supply for some things to work eg: water pump, lights, control display unit, electric flush etc...
My caravan is very basic and the only thing that runs off my battery are 2 x LED lights so in theory, I could do away with my battery.
However, if the EHU tripped or there was another mains power problem, I would be plunged into darkness, so I see my 12v lights as back up when on mains hook up.
We brought our present Van like geoff+ emmy did
We brought this a Elddis Crusader Super Sirocco Twin Axle L shaped Lounge Big Fridge Freezer Tinted Double Glazing ,Fixed Bed a Big washroom .
