We're looking to buy a 6 berth caravan (used) but are struggling to find many within our price range (£6000) and within a reasonable distance from us, we're willing to travel for the right van, but north of Scotland from South Wales is a bit of a trek!!

I'm starting to worry we've left it to late for this season and that all buying/selling has been done :( Please tell me we will find a van!!

If anything there should be more caravans about for sale in the next couple of months. Private sellers that are able to do so will keep over winter them & sell them for best price which is from now onwards. So more caravans should be about but higher prices due to more demand than say Oct/Nov so horses for courses really.

I think look for second hand . But you nee to take care.
A friend of mine said she is thinking of selling up because they haven't used their van for two years . I know it's a twin axle . I live in South Wales. Maybe I will her again
She only told me yesterday . I did tell her to either advertise or go to newport caravans and sell it to them .
She had only just told me so won't have done anything at all yet.
Don't worry though there are a lot of vans about . Have you look at local dealers.

It's a problem that's for sure.

I travelled from Sussex to Yorkshire for the right caravan.

There is definitely a price difference .....

Have a look HERE We use the storage facility there. We have not bought from them, but they have an AWS technician employed and seem to be thorough with their work.
Also have a look HERE Not bought here either but been good recommendations on them on this site which is how we found them.
