The Classic says in ideal conditions its expected to drive a 1500kg van up a 1 in 4 slope.


The Evolution says it will drive any weight trailer or van up a slope in excess of a 1 in 4 slope.



Sounds the the Evolution is superior. Its also 10kg lighter.

the classic is cheaper and will serve most peoples needs..

it comes down to what you wish to pay.. i opted for the cheaper classic..

I've just had a classic fitted to my new van, it works really well however it takes quite an effort to manually engage the rollers due to a combination of the high pressure caravan tyres and the newness of the unit , if your physically fit it's ok, if not go for the auto engage model.

I must admit we went for the evolution mainly because we have to watch our van weight & it was lighter.
