I think that they are the Purple line movers, and are chain driven rather than geared. Im sure someone who has used one will be along later to comment, we have a Reich geared type mover and its now on its second caravan and still works fine in its 6th year. It cost us around £800 fitted from Robinsons caravans near Chesterfield, we are very pleased with it.

There is a big debate of manual engage versus motor engage, the motor isquicker and easier to use, BUT, if the motor gives up whilst in the Engaged position, it can be a struggle to retract the rollers from the tyre to be able to move the caravan manually and be able to hitch up and tow it.

The type of surface on rollers also varies and can be anything from a grit type of surface which will need replacing as part of the servicing schedual as a wareable part, or the grooved metal rollers as fitted to our Reich. If you plan to keep your caravan for a fair few years, its probably worth going for a mover with a better spec than the chain driven grit roller entry level type, but if you plan to sell it on and upgrade every couple of years, then the entry level spec movers would probably be fine.

We had the Enduro 2 on our last van and it was gear driven.
Good unit and I would have one again.

It was manually operated onto the wheels and was quick and easy to engage and disengage.

We now have a Powrtouch which is Auto Engaged and I'd never buy another one. Too expensive for what they are.
Gone are the days when more money meant more quality.

Way too slow to engage and disengage and as Romany Girl says, they are over complicated. You can manually engage/disengage them but that involves a lot of hassle.

I would recommend the Enduro 2.

This will be my third season with our Enduro 2, which has just been swapped over to our new unit. Very happy with its operation. It has manual cross actuation which is quick and easy. Does the job well so a good piece of kit in my opinion. PS: It is gear driven

Had our enduro for a few years now and no issues. Unless you count the weak battery in the remote or those moments when i forget to switch the master key on
