When I said "If in any doubt, ask for cash. You won't hear from them again," My point was that once you mention payment in cash, the crooks will realise they have been rumbled. They will not have the cash, either in genuine or fake notes. They are scammers not forgers.
Hello, Just found this thread on google: had the same experience: rose.lama401 at gmail.com contacted me to buy the office furniture without even seeing it asking for my paypal details. When refused to send disappeared.Be aware! the worst thing is that they could use any email these scammers.

As I said earlier in this thread, the scammers are often not even in the UK. They just say they are. If they say they are in Aberdeen, or in Cardiff or London, in all probability they are really in Nigeria or somewhere else in Africa.
I just email back saying I know this is a scam and why don't you get some honest work and stop cheating people! Generally guarantees no further response from that scammer, but there are so many up to this.
