Having tried several products on the market, I cannot find a product out there that easily removes streaks on caravans. I've seen many owners cleaning their caravans, I've even asked what the product is, but hey, I cant remember !! Can anyone help me with this? I am used to buying online. Else shop availability?!?

Coming up soon will be Aldi Caravan Cleaner and Aldi Black Streak Remover.

I find that if you have the caravan cleaner and just use it neat on a sponge or cloth, you don't actually need the black streak remover.

Good car shampoo used neat as well will remove the streaks.

If you want to remove unsightly algea then the best product to use is Fenwick's caravan cleaner but if it's just black streaks you want to remove then there are several products available on the market. One particular product is called 'Muck Off' which is available at most caravan retailers but others you can use from B&Q and the Range are 'Instant Shine' by JML or 'Showroom Shine' by Greased Lightning which is what I use as it contains carnauba wax so it polishes as well and leaves no streaks. Showroom shine can also be used on acryllic windows so you can clean the whole caravan with it.

A stiff yard brush and car shampoo solution is effective on the caravan roof. I don't know if its safe to stand on the roof or not. . . .and didn't fancy finding out either. But the long handle sufficed.

Any car polish will do it, if it will clean your car it will clean your caravan.

I hope that you are taking the mick? stiff yard brushes should only be used on concrete and not on caravans, oh and no its not safe to stand on your caravan roof you will fall thr very quickly if not certainly damage it permantely

It's not advisable to use any stiff brush on a caravan as it is likely to dislodge the sealant thus likely to cause water ingress after a period of time. Soft bristle brushes are always the best and a bit of elbow grease in areas with stubborn stains.
