Washed and polished the caravan yesterday, even the roof, it looks so beautiful and shiney, just like a new van and its eight years old.
Thanks to Care-avan products, no I'm not connected to them I just love them and believe in them so much I could sell the stuff, and believe me I'm no sales person.
I cleaned my van just using water and extendable handled brush borrowed hosepipe off site owner and connected to end of brush stood on station platform to do roof. Campsite is old railway station and sorting yard shut down by Beecham.
Platform is only 3/4ft lower than van roof very handy for giving a good scrub. next visit to Fangfoss will take AutoGlym Bag full of Goodies and give van a good going over or leave until last outing for year and prepare for winter lay up.
We have had ours Paintsealed so have to use their products for the guarantee. They are fine, no better or worse than my normal showroom shine. BUT, last summer we met up with my cousin who keeps her van on a seasonal pitch and stores it there overwinter. They can't water wash it but had never heard of the dry wash. They went out and bought Autoglyn as it was all they could get.......and I have never seen such results. There 10 year old van looked better than our 1 year old van at the end of it! It was so good that the kids were clamouring to have a go! So when my guarantee expires I guess I shall be giving that a go!.
------------- Started with a motorbike and tent.......my gallery, my life.
We had ours done By Tourershine he recommends Autoglym products as they don't strip the sealant off which cheap wash stuff that has Road Grime remover in does. On ours its just the front and back that really needs attention as they fade and end up dull. he had to treat the faded panels first before they are treated with the sealant. The autoglym super resin polish is good but is rather expensive but if you have spent that much money on the treatment why go and wash it off.

I use waterless cleaner when on site if the caravan gets dirty whilst travelling, (care-avan) of course, but I have used others in the past.
They are brilliant, and leave a lovely shine. Some people say it can't be good because you are wiping around the dirt on the surface but it doesn't, as soon as you spray it on it seems to lift off the grime and leaves the shine below.
As I said mine looks like new so it can't have done it any harm.
Can be used on the car too.
I could sell this product also, I believe in it so much.
