Yes, it does seem odd the way caravans are traded in after a few yrs. I would have thought it would be a once in a lifetime purchase. No reason a caravan should not last 30yrs or more.

You don't need to climb up outside to see it, you can tell from the inside. There will be a plastic strip across the roof which you can gently peel back to see the join. It simply pushes back in place after.
