Has anybody out there bought a new mattress for a ready made up single bed in a van lately, as the prices I have been quoted are totally astronomical, I could by a kingsize all singing and dancing for the prices being asked
Size required 180cm x 80cm x 20cm with rounded corners preferably sprung or air pocket. present one feels like stuffed with horse hair no good for my back.

what about putting a memory foam topper on them? I know it makes a heck of a difference to my bed and no where near as expensive as totally renewing the mattresses

Search ebay 'memory foam mattress', order one of these & cut it down. Thats your cheapest option. I got a small double size for my caravan & its comfortable enough.

Have a look at Northwestcaravanbedding on ebay, I have just bought a pocket sprung replacement for our swift nearside fixed double bed, cost £269.99 inc shipping.

The guy's name is JON, and strangely this company has the same postcode as JONIC, which is much advertised and much more costly than Northwest. Coincidence or what?

I am expecting delivery on Friday so let's see what comes!
