As a matter of interest why would anyone want to do this anyway? It's not like were all camping in the middle of Africa and having to carry water from a water hole on our backs for any long distance. In the 1970's we used to carry water in carriers on a daily basis then came the Aquaroll to take all that stress out heavy lifting and people are still not happy.
just fill 2 aqua rolls and place them near water pump, when one is empty swap over.dont complicate it.Then refill emty unit so you always have a full one

That's precisely what I do. One full reserve barrel is always ready just in case it rains or there's a queue at the water tap and when one is empty just refill at your own leisure.
It's another bit of kit that you have to sterilise as well if you are conscious about clean water so I can't see any benefit at all in connecting two barrels to one water supply.
We use 2 aquarolls on a regular basis plus we have an onboard tank. For a weekend we only need the initial top up although waste master still needs to be emptied daily. Never bothered by "joining" them up.
