I went there today mainly to purchase a container of Elsan pink toilet fluid and whilst there I asked once again about the recall and enquired if they had any Calorlite gas in stock.
"No, not till next week" came the reply so it's still a waiting game to try and get my two gas cylinders exchanged.

Problem sorted by founder member of a local caravanning group. He works for a hire centre, virtually around the corner from our home. Although they are Calor stockist they do not keep Calorlite, he has taken our cannister - given receipt - and will have a replacement for us on Tuesday.
Pity we couldn't have had this had the same helpful response from where it was purchased.
We exchanged ours as soon as the recall came in. We had one full and two empty. Initially the stockist said no until we pointed out the error of their ways and directed them to the Calor website. After that.....no problem, they exchanged all the cylinders though we only took them in one at a time whenever we were passing. So that's free gas for this year.
