I am attempting to install a camera on the rear of my Lunar Delta fixed under the high level stop light. I would like to run a cable from this high level stop light to the number plate, reversing light, stop light panel below which appears to be removable! Has anyone any idea how I can remove this panel. Suggestions greatly appreciated.
The idea is to route a cable between the outer and inner wall skins to under the floor and then to the front of the caravan to pick up a video link to a monitor in the car.

I was going to fit mine over the number plate light and pick up a feed from there as I can't get between the skins on my Knaus and I will just drive on sidelights.
Not wireless! I will be using the spare terminal in the 13 pin plug. This worked very well in my last caravan without any interference. Reversing Cameras UK ltd do a great wireless link which would be worth a look.
I am going for the higher level mounting again as the rear view from the number plate camera is very limited. My number plate camera on the car is brilliant when hooking up the caravan single handed.
I have a trunk from the high level stop light inside the van down to the LH rear light and was thinking of running from there behind the exterior moulding and along the chassis to a seperate waterproof two pin plug and socket.
The 13 pin socket is already wired up and I dont think I want to disturb it.
Do you use the camera on the rear of the caravan just for reversing?
I am about to fit a wireless camera to my Orion. I propose to mount the camera under the floor at the back and power it from the fridge 12v supply, that way it will only be powered up when car is connected and running. My idea is to use the camera as a rear view mirror to see what is directly behind the caravan
The 2 pin plug and socket will be good with a pigtail connector. The camera on the rear of the caravan is for a rear view while towing. I find it useful to know who is behind me but not seen in the wing mirrors. It is also good to know when it is clear to return to the inside lane when overtaking.
I have gone for the high level camera option and also power it from the permanent supply from the car so that the camera is only live when the caravan is connected to the car

That's what I was thinking, I just wish I could get it to display (switchable) on the onboard screen though instead of having another screen cluttering up the dash.
To draw a conclusion on this for anyone who may be interested.
I have managed to get from the high level stop light camera position to below floor level through the exterior caravan skin by tying a wheel bolt to a string and pulling it through with a strong magnet from the outside. Didn't need to dismantle anything!
Feeling like a proper smart a**!!
