Can anyone help? I own a 1970s Sprite Sprint 12, chassis number P76/1432. The damper is shot, I've taken it off - there is no visible writing to identify the part. Does anyone know where I can get a new one? All thoughts very welcome.

CI used their own chassis, but used B&B (later Harrison) hitch gear - so hopefully you could track down a B&B unit at a breakers.

Can anyone recommend a good breakers that may have, or specialise in old caravan parts?

B&B hitch dampers here, Its quite possible though you could find a damper to suit if you go to a trailer parts supplier & see if you can match one up.

I've found the whole coupling from a breakers in Runcorn, reasonable price too, will try and take a look this week.
