Just got back from our first break in our caravan. After being converted to a Tin Top as some of you call them from a folding camper, why didn't i do it sooner. So much easier in every way, i've actually felt i've had a holiday,no struggling with canvas or worrying about packing away wet.
We did fail on the porch awning though,we tried putting it up but it was abit windy and nothing seemed to be going right. As there was only the two of us,we managed without it easily so we're going to have another go at home on a nice day.Hope we can master it because it's a good quality awning,Dorema with lightweight poles,
Anyway, planning our next trip away now. We're like kids with a new toy.
Yes before we went i did have a look at it and i numberered the poles.DIDN'T HAVE ANY TAPE,but as i said with the combination of the wind, things just did not go right.I'll have a go another day.
Thanks for your reply Ferretlady.
This caravanning lark is the future mate.I was gutted tuesday morning packing up to come home the way the weather was.Anyway, washed it off today, hopefully another go at the awning tomorrow and thinking where we're going next.Going to try a long weekend away soon just local and then maybe the Lakes for a week later.Bring it on!
