Just came across these whilst surfing eBay as you do lo,and wondered if they are worth getting? Currently we use blocks of wood that came with the van.

If you mean the plastic bits that fit permanently to the steadies, yes they are worth having, saves putting wood down but wood packing blocks are still needed on uneven or unlevel ground to avoid winding steadies down too far.

I have coped with 8" square off cuts of 19 mm marine ply for 30 plus years. Now without access to the scrap bin I might have to buy something if these get stolen, until then they have no appeal. All that is needed is something to spread the point load if you use grass pitches, ideally cheap, durable, and light.
Dished ones which you can fill with water help address ant issues, but the ants still can find a tyre.

They are steadies only. They should never be used to level the van.
Level side to side with ramps or stands under the axle(s).
Level front to rear with the jockey wheel then put the steadies down until they make firm contact with the ground.

We have the permanently fitted plastic feet on the steadies. Where sloping ground demands packing, we have a set of 8 plastic 'plates' which assembly into two cubes, each about 6 inches high. They are called Steadi-Blocs and are robust and washable. Wouldn't use anything else now.

The ramps don't really work for twin axle vans, we use a decking board cut into sections and stack them as required
