It rained quite a bit on Good Friday, there was quite a few areas on the seams that were letting in water. We have had a few different Kampa porch awnings and were not concerned as when they dry the stitching tightens and then they become waterproof and we have never had any leaks on previous porches.
How do you find the Ace - I think that will be our next awning as the space looks fantastic
We have the Air Ace and used it over the Easter weekend. Loads of space. We have the electric pump plus a 12v 7am battery for pumpimng up the awning. Be aware that this awning on its own weighs nearly 22kg. In hindsight we should have bought a smaller Kampa as we struggled to get the Air Ace into the awning rail, however once we are past that obstacle, it is plain saling!
Yes wouldn't want an Air one but good to know the space is as good as it looks in the pictures
The awning is much larger than our 390 Pro as it is deeper and the clear front sections of the roof make it appear even larger. we bought 1 monsoon pole, as the 390 ones are not long enough, the roof lining and carpet. a very nice porch and looks really nice with the curtains. The poles are more substantial than the 390 ones, including the monsoon pole.

'The water through the roof was probably condensation.,
Never had this before, even when we slept in the awning.it was dripping on us all morning. Didn't cook in it either.

We have had condensation in our Ventura awning and for the first time, Easter Monday so it is a common occurence with all awnings. If you have the heater on in the caravan and open the door, warm air escapes into the awning and you have condensation more so if on a grass pitch.

Sorry I couldn't quite work out who the above quote was from.

I'd really like details of that pump if possible
Many thanks
It is the Kampa electric two stage pump and we paid £80 for it but you need to shop around to get a similar price. It is actually a reabranded Kampa pump if that helps. Takes about a 2 minutes to pump up the air awning.

Thanks for that iank01.
I've been having a look round on line prompted by your information and I think this may well do it?
What do you think?
It seems it will do the same job as rated at 20amps. Can I sugest that if you purchase it, look for a 12v 7amp battery which costs about £11 to power it especially if your battery is on the offside of the caravan? The battery will only need recharging after several inflations.
Happily the battery box is on the same side of the caravan as the awning will go. The plan was to fit a fused non reversible socket to the leisure battery on a sufficiently rated cable to carry 20Amps and pop a plug on the pump as I'm no fan of crock clips.
I would probably inflate the awning after levelled and connected to ehu so all being well it won't flatten a 110AH leisure battery in blowing up the awning!
Also apologies to Caroelle didn't mean to hi-jack the thread.
