Hi, I have just crossed over from canvas to caravanning too and had my first trip away last weekend. Felt the benefit immediately as it rained all day so pulled up, unhitched, hooked up to the electricity, turned the gas on and was sorted!

Welcome, canvas to trailer tent and now tin top, 5 years. Why did we not do this long ago ? Tenting since the 70s all over Europe, TT all over Scotland and now retracing our steps since the 70s. Trying to work out how to get to Cyprus

New caravanners here as well although we have had a share in a touring caravan sited in the Loire for several years. We have never towed a caravan until this year having gone from tenting to folding camper and now a small 2 berth we tow with our Juke. As we speak we are pitched on Pen y Bont in Bala enjoying a spell of great weather. Lovely site. Review to follow.

Hello and welcome, we to progressed from tenting to caravanning which has paid dividends especially for early and late season getaways which were always cold and damp in the tent. We are in our third year of caravaning after several years of tenting. glad that we bought one.. You still get the tenting bit too if you attach one to the side of your van! Enjoy!
