Can anybody tell me if if the status 530 can be removed . As when fitted caravan cover won't fit as not tall enough

Hi Colin it probably isn't worth removing it.
The 530 is easy to remove tho unplug the coaxial cable loosen the holding clamp and locking ring and it pulls straight out.
If you do I would block the hole up just in case your cover leaks ha ha

You might be able to get an extra bit added to the cover to cover the aerial

I've not heard of anyone having to remove the Status to fit their cover as yet, but if you do decide to remove it (easy enough), it should have been supplied with a blanking plug to seal the opening.

I used to cover my aerial with a cut down quality football before putting the cover on, it also helped to stop the water pooling on the roof.
