could anyone offer advice please
i recently bought a 5 year old lunar lexon 570 6 berth from a dealer. within the last 3 months it as developed some delamination of the floor and the whole of the van shakes when people walk about. i have informed the dealer who to be fair came out to where it is sited and he said he would repair it.
this van is 2010 and cost me £10,995, i would not have paid so much for a van in this condition, what are my realistic options any advice welcome
thank in advance
mick
its called delamination, but it is repairable, it would have been there 3 months back when you bought the caravan weird you didn't spot it beforehand, but suggest to the dealer that you need some compensation due to this fact

thanks there were no indication of this, i no it can be repaired i have done one myself many years ago,
the problem has escalated at an allarming rate since i first noticed it i want to no were i stand legaly before i go back to the dealer
ok well it would fall in the "not fit for purpose" then part of the sale of goods act but the legals will confirm this for you, if not, suggest a call to trading standards
If the dealer makes good the caravan, what`s the problem?
New caravans have problems, used ones do as well, if the problem has `escalated at an alarming rate` it may not have been noticeable at the time of your purchase (as you didn`t).
It appears the dealer has been more than fair (most would have wanted you you to bring the van back to them to inspect), but if you want to play hard-ball expect the dealer to do likewise.
