Can anyone shed any light on a inflatable awning. l was told that they are easier to erect, l think the guy was having me on, all the years l've been touring l never heard of a blow up awning, if it does exist how does it stay up in windy conditions, and no framework to keep its shape etc
Thanks

Got a Bradcott air awning. hardest part is threading into the rail, and that's not difficult!

We have one and it's really easy to erect and sturdy when inflated. We saw some really large tents just recently at go outdoors which were inflated and they looked really robust.
We've got one too wouldn't be without it. Surprising how sturdy they are to be honest. Our Dorema has stood up to some serious winds without bending at all.
We have one and it's very easy to erect. We're on a site which is on a cliff in North Devon at the moment and the winds have been very strong - it hasn't budged.
I don't think they're a new thing. They don't look different to ordinary awnings once up so perhaps you just haven't realised which are inflatable and which aren't.
