Hi we have an alko 3004 hitchlock 2e got off ebay for our van . We had it on no probs now we moved van tried putting it on again cant get button to push in when turning key we have no instructions can anyone help at all

Does the lock push in correctly when the lock isn't on the hitch? Does the key turn in the lock?

Try locking it off the van.If it locks then as paul says its being put on and misaligned.

They can be fiddly to get everything lined up properly on the hitch. Need to take time and keep trying.

I had the same problem, it worked fine off the hitch but couldn't press the button in. I now make sure the lock is as far forward as possible on the hitch and then it locks fine. Good luck x

Just oiled it pushed button in tried off the van was ok so tried on van bit fiddly but working great thanks guys xx

I found the instruction book for our Alko 1300 on the Alko website. It's a PDF so can be printed or saved. Sorry I can't do the linky thing.
