I would just like to praise our dealer, Chichester Caravans Bromsgrove, for all of their help whislt our Caravan has been back at the manufacturer undergoing warranty work. Our caravan was returned to the manufacturer in February to undergo repair under warranty. We knew then that the likelihood of us having it back prior to our Easter trip was slim. Chichester Caravans said there and then that should it not be back they would sort us a caravan. This they did, they serviced a like for like 'van off the forecourt and put it in an easy to get at spot so we could load it at our leisure, then waved us off on our way. When we realised that the caravan wouldn't be back for Mayday they once again offered us a caravan. We weren't planning a trip but they called to make sure we weren't staying home because we didn't have the caravan to go in. Come half term and still no caravan. They once again telephoned to say they have put one (that has not even made it to their website yet) aside for our half term trip and to drop the battery and gas bottles down when we were ready so they could service it and make sure everything was working prior to our trip this weekend. They had no need to do this other than excellent customer service. We didn't purchase the caravan from them from new, it was a 2nd hand 'van off their forecourt but they have gone out of their way to ensure we haven't missed out on any holidays. So many posts are about poor service, I wanted to say that not all dealers are like that. p.s. before people start shaming the manufacturer for taking so long etc. We realise it isn't ideal and would have preferred our caravan not take so long to be repaired but they have kept us informed all the way along regarding the status.
