If only 6amp Ehu you will probably cannot use domestic electric kettle but you can use fan heater on first setting, ie 1kw. Low amp appliances like lighting, fridge, tv, phone charger will be ok but be careful you do not have too much switched on at once.
Busy French sites sometimes do not supply the amps promised & the voltage can be down as well causing fridge to be warm. If the site electrics look rubbish, they probably are.
Thank you one and all, this is a site in North Yorkshire, think it will indeed be tricky to keep fridge, radio, and kettle going on 6amps in August so will reluctantly have to give that one a miss.
Radio should use next to nothing, low wattage kettles are available and fridge could, if need be, be turned off while using kettle. I'm assuming you can't power fridge by gas and don't want to use a gas hob for a traditional kettle?
