We have a Bradcott 390 and love it. Easy to thread into the rail. Yes a bit heavier than a pole awning but not a real problem. We have the 12z air pump to inflate ours (free bonus when bought at the NEC in Feb) so probably much less effort than hand pump. Also think the one point inflation type (such as Bradcott) make it eaier than having to inflate several beams.

Well lots to think about 😁. There seems to be pros and cons for both but my feeling is that the air option is easier to assemble for 1 person. I'm sure the pole option cause many a heated moment with wives and partners. So now I've decided on air what size and make. Vango is most likely out as we don't have any suppliers here in Notthern Ireland, so it basically leaves Outwell and Kampa.

Just 1 final update. We went for the Kampa Fiesta 350, but dealer had none left, slight disappointment but we managed to come to an "agreement" and got the Fiesta Air Pro 420. Now I can't wait to get out and get it up. Thanks for all your help and advice. Barry
We were after a bigger porch to replace a small Sunncamp. We looked at air and pole and read the opinions on here. Thanks folk!
We looked at both at Towsure in Halesowen and decided on a Kampa 260 pole type.
Swmbo found one online at Tent hire in Walsall. Its last years model with a ouple of marks as ex display. With a carpet and side poles and storm guys came to less than new cost for current one.
We tried it this weekend and are pleased. it is good quality and easy to put up.
Little Sunncamp will be put on sale now.
