What about Adria Altea 542DK (Double bunk) or the Adria Altea 542DT (Triple Bunk) both have a MTPLM of 1300kg up to the 2015 models.

Very well made vans.

The 304 has a seating area at the front that turns into a double, on one side is a dinete seating area that turns into a single, and above the diners is a bunk bed that folds down.

We have a lunar quasar 525 which has a bunk with double bed beneath made up from the rear dinette. Think Max loaded weight is 1375kg.

Hi beth29, not sure if you are talking about the DK or the DT. We have the DT and don't have any problems with worktop space. You can have a flip up part on the end of the worktop if you require more space, but we have never had an issue. We have the sink cover that gives a bit more space.

We love the van and wouldn't change it for anything else. We especially like the large bathroom / shower, the wide bunks and the excellent build quality.

Not sure where you are located, but I can recommend Venture Caravans as a very good Adria dealer. We purchased ours from Venture in Daventry, but they also have a branch in Hitchin.

It looks like Daventry have a 2010 542 DT in stock at the moment for £9,995 but I'm sure it won't be available for long.

We have a altea 542 dt.   Very pleased with it. I think the new version can have a 2 bunk option rather than 3 if you want the bigger toilet room the dt has over the dk.   We have found it useful for shoes etc when we don't have awning up.   It is a tad wider than a lot of other vans and is spacious inside and bunks good size. Tows great too.   No problem with kitchen work space. We got it from venture too.

Just nioticed your towing power. If that's the max the car can pull, it might be better to go lighter than an altea dt. You should aim to tow something that's not heavier than 85% of your cars kerb weight. Also the noseweight limit on your cars towbar would need to be considered as the caravan should be loaded to have a noseweight of 5-7% of caravans weight.

You need to work out what 85% of your cars kerb weight is. If this is over 1300kg (MTPLM of altea dt) then you would probably be ok, If the figures you give in your first post are this then ok, but if the figures are the maximum weight braked trailer it can pull, then it may not be.   I towed mine previously with a 1.9 vectra estate. Max towing was 1500kg braked trailer, but the 85% kerb weight was less, about 1350kg if I remember correctly.
