The weather really has been very up and down. Sunny, rainy, hail all within one hour. It's getting me down as well, I like to sit outside and read with a beer in hand. Too darn chilly with the wind the way it has been
Yep..been out in it all day catching up with work in the garden and bits and bobs in the caravan.
Had to stop and have the obligatory couple of beers in the afternoon..as they say in Fife..Braw!!!!

was away last week in may to campbelltown,it rained for a few days and that is what i find relaxing, walk dogs first thing then heater on and kettle on and chill in van doing nothing.so relaxing
We love all the different weathers. I'm really, really into photography so love stormy weather, good job too as last weekend at Sandend it we had gales. I love sitting in the van listening too the rain, and people watching as they dart around the site to and from tents and vans.
We are going to try Banff this weekend and the weather will be what it will be.
I am also a bit daft in that i will go and sit in the 'van with a cuppa [on our drive way] in all weathers. My neighbours are used to seeing me relaxing with a book.
------------- My photos allow you to see what I saw at the time that I took it....No messing.
We enjoy caravanning in the UK as well as abroad - they're different but equally interesting experiences. We've just spent most of May in Yorkshire and Derbyshire, not as a holiday but as the perfect way to visit family and friends without getting in their way and retaining our freedom! The weather wasn't good, and we had to have the heating on, but the camp sites were excellent, with cosy heated toilet blocks, and we used our National Trust cards to visit historic houses when it was raining. We also enjoyed the Blue John cavern in Derbyshire. And tea-shops and pubs are always welcoming if it's cold or wet!
Now that we're back home the weather is glorious, and it's nice to sit in the garden at last. But we're taking the caravan up north again in a few weeks and will enjoy ourselves whatever the weather!
------------- Il vaut mieux vivre ses reves que rever sa vie
caravans keep you dry,and warm and you can cook, play cards or whatever else you want to do.So lets stop moaning about the weather and just enjoy a break from the norm for gods sake

I bought my caravan 1st October last year and so far have managed to sit outside for one hour!!!! I'm a 12 months a year camper so not a fair weather one but hailstones and 70mph winds beat me.I snuggle up with a good book but I do miss the fresh air.The last 2 times away have been atrocious and when I came home the sun was cracking the flags!!!
