We have put a deposit down on a new caravan, using a credit card.
we are looking at having a motor mover fitted not by dealer so went back to check the van that is still in the showground, they have 3 exactly the same. Out of the three they have, the one we are having does not have shock absorbers on the others do, the sales person is going to look into it today, got to ask someone else.
question is, do we have a argument that ours have been missed at the factory. The others are same model and price sureley ours should have them.

the makers could have decided not to fit them.. i dont think its reasonable to assume (or suggest) they have been missed at the factory..

you are the buyer you decide whether to take the van without them or not.. there must be some reason you have picked that one..

They probably were not standard fit and they paid extra to have them fitted

I doubt if the Venus ranger will have shock absorbers as it is a budget range. However the good news is that shocks are not expensive to fit. Pay for the shocks seperately and get the dealer to fit them as part of the deal.

While your at it you could buy all the the other bits the manufacturer leff off accidentally and ask the dealer to fit them as well.     :-)

Sorted the dealer is getting them from lunar and fitting them. It is a oversite on there part. Not usually fitted but because the other ones have them they are honouring it and putting some on ours.
