Hi, we bought our 1st caravan from a work colleague last year, we love it but wanted to make it "our style"
We paid for the seating to be re-upholstered from a local firm, they did a fantastic job and I got my sewing machine out to make the curtains. I bought some secondhand curtains from EBay and cut/adapted them adding caravan tape. We just want to add a few more finishing touches - change the spotlights to silver/chrome and maybe a new carpet.
We are really pleased with the results it feels like a brand new caravan, I wasn't sure how to add photos to my post so I've put them in my gallery - I loved looking at photos/posts on here when I was looking for ideas so hopefully someone may find them interesting.
Looks smashing ... I recently purchased a wee belter of a 2 berth after giving up last year. Have had brand new and old over the years but absolutely delighted with ma "Wee Berthy" ... I blinged mine up a bit with the LED strip lights under the curtain pelmet. Hand controlled with dimmer facility and can even change the colour. Lucky if it was £15 via Amazon.. Worth a look and easy to install..
SMEESH....

I have just purchased an old Eldis Wisp. Like a previous blogger said we have had old vans before but not for several years. getting really excited to start giving it a little make over. Has anyone any idea of the size of porch awning,,, or make for that matter that would fit a 95 eldis wisp. thanks and yours looks great.
