Thanks for your advise Trog. I can still tow the van ok with the drop plate taken off. I've had 4x4's and bigger vans in the past (we also have a Mondeo and Elddis Avante 475) but I'm really enjoying this small outfit. The van is like a camper van on wheels with it being just 5'7" wide. It's in ace condition as had been in a garage all it's life. I'm saving up for a made to measure winter cover, expensive!
